It has 2 channels with XLR and 1/4 inch jack inputs, dual preamps with 48V phantom power, input meter, 1/4 inch jack TRS inserts, MIDI I/O, S/PDIF I/O, headphone jack, 1/4 inch jack balanced outputs, and USB port. The Alesis IO/2 is USB powered-no external AC power supply necessary . The Alesis IO/2 uses ultra low latency ASIO 2.0 drivers and comes with Cubase LE software.
